Attendance

Where my Wellies Take Me - Year 1/2 - acrylic on canvas, one of two works made with artist in residence Maggie Stewart to celebrate our ethos caring for our environment

COVID-19 Please note that from September 2020, school attendance once again is compulsory for all children unless they are unwell. More information at https://www.kingsmead.cheshire.sch.uk/information/attendance-times-of-day

Call 01606 800170 and choose option 1 to report pupil absence.

It is important that we know where children are. As soon as morning registers are taken we will investigate any unexplained absence.

If your child is going to be absent from school please call us before registration at 8:50. Choose option 1 and leave a message. Don't email on the morning of absence as we need to contact parents of any children whose whereabouts are unknown promptly, as soon as the registers are closed.

We do not authorise term time absence other than sickness unless there are exceptional circumstances. We ask that parents and carers avoid term time absence. Request should be made to the headteacher in writing and in advance, informing us of the reason and dates.
