APPLICATIONS FOR vacancIES
Thank you for your interest in working with us. While all applications once received are considered on merit, we particularly welcome applications from people currently under-represented in our school: ethnic minorities, men, LGBT+ or disabled candidates.
Safe Working Practice
All posts at Kingsmead involve working with young children and we follow rigorous guidelines for safe recruitment. All positions will be subject to DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks and are subject to references. Applicants are assessed as to their suitability to work with children throughout the application procedure and before they commence their employment with us. All adults in school, whether working as direct employees, contracted staff or as volunteers, can expect that their conduct and suitability to work with children to be routinely monitored and assessed for the duration of their time working with us.
Posts should be applied for online at Jobs Go Public using a CWAC application form. We still accept applications on a CWAC application form for some candidates.
These should be returned to firstname.lastname@example.org or by post to: Lesley Cocker, School Business Manager, Kingsmead Primary School, Dukes Way, Kingsmead, Northwich, Cheshire CW9 8WA.
Please mark the subject line of your email (or envelope) with the words 'Application for' and the post for which you are applying. Applications should be made on the correct form. We do not accept applications by CV only, if including a CV this must be clearly referenced within your application form to ensure that we have equivalent information from all candidates.
All posts are subject to two references, one of whom should be your current or most recent employer (or for newly qualified applicants, a university or college tutor). References are taken up for all shortlisted candidates prior to interview. We do not accept open testimonials in lieu of a reference.
It is the candidate's responsibility to ensure their application arrives on time. Late applications will not be considered.
